Refueling Station - Light Study
This was a study on trying to convey a small area using only three light sources. The three light sources used are:
Fire on the platform near the top of the level. The light is mostly used for just ascetic purposes.
The moon (skylight). Used to give light to most of the outside level. With the addition of Post-process volumes and height fog, I was able to lighten the darkest spots so the player could still see details, just not that much.
The light wall. The entire wall is lit up to contrast the outside. The doorways to the lab adjacent to it are open to bring some light into the final room.
